At Innova Academy Early Education we are looking for a quality Assistant Centre Director with the enthusiasm to lead and inspire staff & families.
This role is a mix of on/off the floor, and your focus will be to support the Director on a day to day to basis.
As the Assistant Centre Director, you are expected to oversee the operations of the service, lead, guide and support a team that provides high-quality early childhood education and care to children.
Expectation
Work closely with the Centre Director on day-to-day operations and step up to cover that role in their absence.
Create positive, professional & genuine relationships with team members.
Demonstrate that you are warm, compassionate and gentle with your communication.
Maintain strong time management, organisational, written and verbal skills.
Step up when Centre Director is on leave and manage the whole centre.
Mature and professional approach.
Develop relationships that support and partner with families.
Seek perspectives, actively listen and take on board feedback that further develops ideas or resolves concerns.
Current ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children's Services or above;
Mandatory Child Protection Certificate;
Current First Aid;
Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training;
Current Working with Children's Check;
Prior experience in a Centre management
(preferable) Competency with OWNA will be advantageous;
Good knowledge of the EYLF
