**About the role**

A great opportunity for a licenced security officer to work in a caring and friendly environment.

Providing a quality and safe environment for the care of patients is the shared responsibility of all staff and the Health & Security Assistant is an integral and valued member of our team.

Your role provides support to the nursing team under their guidance in the delivery of patient care. We will develop you to reach your potential and will always support you in an inclusive, collaborative and caring team environment.

This is a varied role providing security and general assistance to ensure the smooth running of the hospital.

This position is managed by Downer on a day-to-day basis. The successful applicant will be physically based at Bathurst Hospital, a part of the Western NSW Local Health District.
