Our client is a growing online lighting retailer and they currently have an opening for an
**Storeperson **to join their head office in Kingsgrove NSW.

They are looking for an enthusiastic Storeperson to join their growing team. Reporting to the Team Leader and General Manager you will assist with the daily processing of purchase orders, receiving of goods and allocating into the system as well as other ad-hoc work as required.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Liaising with suppliers
- Receiving stock and goods
- Allocating orders in the system
- Processing purchase orders
- Improve strategies to manage inventory
- Create and maintain Inventory reports using company System
- Manage suppliers daily by using reports and following up on delivery issues
- Maintaining stock variances
- Grow and maintain effective supplier relationships
- Ensure always in stock and never over stocked
- Investigate all complaints or reported quality issues
- Ensure stock levels by ordering materials, maintaining purchasing records in line with procedures.
- Stocktake
- Review invoice versus PO variances and update system as required
- Ideally previous experience in a similar role but not essential, can provide in-house training
- The ability to show initiative
- Must have clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise
- Ability to learn and pick up new systems efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment, coupled with a safety-first approach
- Team player who goes above and beyond
- Reliable with strong work morale
- You will need to be highly organised, a skilled multitasker and able to meet deadlines on a daily basis
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously in a hands on environment
- Experience with Shopify and/or Cin7 is desirable but not essential.
