Our products are sold in more than 130 countries where we create life-changing differences through hearing health.- Responsibilities- The incumbent will work closely with the Head of Finance and Business Division Leaders to provide financial and commercial analysis to aid in business decision making and includes supporting all financial planning processes and month-end analysis.- This role will analyse and interpret results and prepare financial and operating statistical reports to support the company’s financial planning, control and performance management. To achieve this, the incumbent will review designated financial aspects of the company’s operations to assist in preparation, consolidation and interpretation of corporate financial budgets and plans.- The role will require close interaction and support for the commercial teams.**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting or similar
- Professional Accounting Qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent)

**Skills and Abilities**:
- High attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem solving abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills’
- Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and maturity
- Strong sense of confidentiality and sensitivity to work
- Experience in staff management and development
- Experience in financial and management report preparation

**Knowledge**:

- Proficient IT skills particularly in Excel
- Technical knowledge of accounting standards and taxation legislation applicable to Australia and New Zealand

**_Experience_**:

- Significant demonstrated experience working in a similar role, minimum 5 years experience
- Experience in a Health or Retail environment

**Key **Accountability**:
**Planning**
- Driver of templates and submissions for planning process - from Strategic plan, annual budget, forecasts, through to daily sales updates.

**Analysis**
- Review reports from the business units, conduct detailed analyses of operating results and report on variance from plan/budget.
- Play lead role in sales and margin review, monitor and evaluate activities, and provide analysis for management to review
- Variance, trend analysis and planning including high level commentary
- Drive reporting solution and ensure data integrity for BI tools

**System Requirements**
- Participate a diverse range of projects encompassing structure reviews, system enhancements and business improvement.
- Provide continuous review and implement improvement of procedures to enhance efficiencies and improve outcomes
