D365 F&o Technical Consultant

As an Avanade D365 F&O Technical Consultant you are considered a solution specialist and have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations Application.

**Key Role Responsibilities**:

- Participate in client functional and technical workshops, to analyse and design Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical solutions
- Define and evaluate the non-functional/technical requirements for each business process in your workstream
- Write technical specifications and collaborate with the functional team to ensure functional and technical requirements are understood and well defined
- Document the system extensions, integrations and prepare project documentation deliverables
- Support key-users in system integration acceptance testing
- Train key-users and/or end-users
- Collaborate with client technical resources around the definition and implementation of system integrations
- Collaborate with our offshore development teams to ensure successful implementation of your technical designs, ensuring adherence to Avanade development best practices
- Travel as needed. You may be required to travel based on project demands

**Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements**:
**Your technical skills include**:

- Deep technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations and/or Dynamics AX
- Developing extensions/customisations for Dynamics 365 F&O
- Experience in the design and implementation of system integration to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX Ideally gained on Microsoft Azure Integration Architecture with Logic Apps
- Experience in Microsoft Common Data Service and the Microsoft Power Platform would be an advantage
- Strong technical requirements gathering skills with demonstrable experience
- Other common Dynamics 365 competencies include ability to custom data entities and syncing techniques

**Your non-technical skills include**:

- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
- Consulting experience working with external clients
- Client management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a larger team throughout an enterprise transformation
- Implementation experience across multiple industries e.g. Health and Public Sector, Manufacturing, Resources, Utilities, Retail, Logistics, Communications and Media, Insurance, Professional Services and Banking
- Experience working with global/offshore teams on ERP technology implementation and maintenance projects is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
