Join our team as an Aged Care Support Worker and be at the heart of providing quality, person-centred care that truly makes a difference.
In this rewarding role, you’ll support individuals to maintain their independence and stay in the comfort of their own homes. No two days are the same—you could be helping with daily tasks like meal preparation and personal care, assisting with transport and mobility, or providing companionship and support with communication.
You’ll also have the chance to lead fun and engaging activities for small groups, or offer overnight respite to clients who’d like a change of scenery. Whether it’s helping someone get ready for their day, enjoy a social outing, or feel safe and supported overnight, you’ll play a vital role in helping people live well, their way.
If you’re caring, reliable, and ready to build genuine connections with those you support—we’d love to hear from you particularly if you live in or around the following suburbs; Ringwood, Doncaster, Burwood, Mitcham, Vermont, Mount Evelyn, Kilsyth, Wonga Park, Healesville, Bentleigh and Huntingdale.
**What you could be doing**:
- Provide assistance with housework and other areas of daily living including preparation of meals;
- Provide quality personal care assistance such as showering and dressing;
- Assist clients to access community facilities or appointments;
- Provide carers with general respite;
- Support clients with shopping and other daily activities.
- Provide support to NDIS participants
- Lead and facilitate activities for groups of clients
- Overnight respite
**What we need from you**:
- Minimum availability of 3 week days a week;
- Previous experience working and supporting older clients and/or clients with disabilities;
- A strong desire to provide quality client service and the ability to make that connection so that you are welcomed you into their home;
- Flexibility and ability to be adaptive;
- Highly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner;
- Current First Aid (with 12 months to run) and CPR Qualifications (with 6 months to run) or willingness to update;
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current driver’s license and own transport vehicle with insurance;
- Must have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with the Victorian Government Public Health directions.

- Knowledge and experience in a similar industry or position
- Fluency in a second language (Afghan and Greek)
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Care or higher;
- Completed the online NDIS worker orientation module
- Quality Safety & You
