Due to significant growth, they are seeking a supply and demand planner. They will play a vital part in leading the product forecasting process in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams. Their main responsibility will be to manage the supply process with regional and global partners, ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory levels to meet target stock holdings.

Supply and Demand Planner

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Our client is a leader in health care specialising in dermatology, with a global portfolio of premium flagship brands and services. They pride themselves in delivering greater consumer engagement, generating better customer insights, and driving continuous innovation.

Due to significant growth, they are seeking a supply and demand planner. They will play a vital part in leading the product forecasting process in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams. Their main responsibility will be to manage the supply process with regional and global partners, ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory levels to meet target stock holdings.

**KEY DUTIES**:
Demand Planning:

- Lead monthly forecast development process for identified commercial teams, utilizing internal data sets, market knowledge, and trends.
- Challenge commercial assumptions professionally to improve the accuracy of forecasts.
- Support commercial colleagues in enhancing their forecasting skills.
- Execute the monthly demand planning process using supply and demand tools and ERP systems.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of new product launch requirements with appropriate stock holdings.

Supply Planning:

- Manage the financial structure and inventory requirements, considering demand, Stock on Hand, safety stock, and lead times.
- Monitor and track inventory across multiple locations.
- Optimize stock levels to meet supply without overcapitalizing.
- Provide accurate inventory reports for local Finance and regional Supply Chain.
- Lead local S&OP monthly meetings, reporting on inventory status at different levels.
- Collaborate with manufacturing plants and regional Supply Chain teams for efficient stock fulfillment.
- Manage product codes and changes as required.
- Utilize supply and demand tools and ERP systems effectively.

S&OP Meetings:

- Prepare and present Supply & Demand inputs for meetings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize supply and demand outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Support commercial colleagues in enhancing their forecasting skills.
- Communicate and measure Demand plan KPIs.

Systems Maintenance / Monitoring:

- Master internal systems to coordinate product launches and maintain accurate planning parameters and product codes.

Stock Records / Reporting Support:

- Analyze stock reports from our Logistics Service Provider (LSP) for all locations.
- Generate reports on low stock, out-of-stock, and discontinued items.
- Manage 4PL invoicing (NZ).

**REQUIREMENTS AND IDEAL PROFILE**:

- 4 - 6 years of experience within a similar field is preferable.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong experience collaborating with commercial teams for effective Supply and Demand forecasting.
- Experience in product development/management and projects.
