**Job description**

We are seeking passionate, energetic, and reliable front of house members to join our South Melbourne team.

The perfect position for someone who is after casual hours and is available to work a 5-day rotating roster including lunch, nights, and weekend shifts.

On-site training will be provided and an immediate start will be available

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming guests warmly and ensuring their dining experience is exceptional.
- Manage table bookings and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Take orders accurately and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high presentation standards.
- Provide menu recommendations and share your knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine.
- Handle payments and operate the POS system with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining and service areas.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and packing down the front-of-house areas.

**Requirements**:

- Prior hospitality experience is preferred, particularly in a Mediterranean or similar cuisine setting.
- Bar experience is a plus, with knowledge of drink preparation and service highly valued.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and beverages is an advantage.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $24.95 - $44.94 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week
