Product Manager

This role is a chance to contribute to integrated (hardware and software) product delivery at the forefront of embedded machine learning/AI, advanced analytics and enterprise information security.

**Who are we looking for?**:
XY Sense has experienced exceptional growth over the past two years; 3X our sensor install base and supporting blue-chip enterprise customers in over 17 countries. We’re looking for a hands-on Product Manager who can continue to build on our existing traction, strong competitive differentiation and commitment to product excellence.

This is a hands-on role responsible for leading the delivery of our roadmap at XY Sense, namely; capturing and prioritizing customer requirements, defining product and feature specifications in line with our longer term strategy and roadmap, and leading our agile software development processes. In doing this, you will be working hand-in-hand with our technical co-founders who collectively have 40 years domain knowledge.

**What this role will be responsible for**:

- Researching our customers and the corporate real estate industry at large to understand broader trends in occupancy and property analytics and to build a comprehensive understanding of our customer lifecycle.
- Own the delivery of the product strategy and roadmap for our SaaS analytics platform as well as how this integrates with our IoT sensor hardware. You will champion this plan to our customers and team and have the opportunity to influence the roadmap.
- Analyse product usage data and customer insights alongside our data science team to identify opportunities to drive our SaaS product forward, and validate the impact you have had with techniques such as A/B tests.
- Work closely and collaboratively with an agile, cross-functional software development team including engineering, data analytics, hardware, customer success, sales and marketing to bring new features and experiences to market. You will help prioritise backlogs, manage delivery and oversee post launch product performance.
- Collaborate with our Customer Success team on customer onboarding and activation journeys and when and how to introduce new features to customers.
- Look for opportunities to continuously optimise and improve our UI/UX and overall product experience with our UX designer.
- Communicate frequently to both our customers and teams across the business about our product vision, roadmap, features, decisions and insights.
- Lead, manage and help grow the product team at XY Sense as opportunities arise. UX designer reports to this role today.

**Your background to succeed in this role**:

- Experience as a Product Manager in SaaS analytics product teams. You can show you have delivered impactful data visualisation product experiences and increased customer usage and engagement.
- Strong communication skills. You’re comfortable talking to an enterprise customer or a back-end dev and know the power of consistency and storytelling in getting your message across.

It’s a plus for us if you have
- Experience building enterprise Saas products in PropTech
- A strong UX or UI design skillset - you have experience crafting great user experiences across web platforms for different customer groups.
- Experience working with hardware teams that integrate into the product
