**About BaptistCare Shalom Centre**

Shalom Centre aged care home offers quality care in a shared-accommodation setting that is accessible to everyone. All rooms are fitted with en-suite bathrooms and feature large windows that bring in plenty of natural light and overlook tranquil gardens.

**About BaptistCare Cooinda Court**

Located just a short stroll from local shops and transport, Cooinda Court features peaceful retreat areas, barbecue facilities, and a recently renovated dining room serving freshly cooked, homely meals. The library, piano and sewing rooms also provide cosy settings in which to sit and relax, by yourself, with friends, or with your family.

**About BaptistCare Dorothy Henderson Lodge**

The Lodge provides 66 single rooms for residents, and 14 secure rooms for those who need higher level of dementia support. All of our rooms have en-suites, large built-in wardrobes, and easy access to communal areas.

**About the role**

Baptistcare Macquarie Park are seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to oversee the Lifestyle and Activities calendar and lifestyle care planning. The role involves developing, implementing and monitoring a Lifestyle program that optimizes the quality of life for our residents across 3 of our residential sites.

You will coordinate and manage events and group activities and lifestyle resources, build and develop volunteers, train and support staff in activities to ensure provision of optimum level of person-centered service to all clients.

You will drive the engagement and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our resident’s choices and independence. In planning and organising all recreational activity programs, you will ensure individual residents’ needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences are taken into account.

**About You**
- Hold or willing to complete a Certificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalent (essential) and
- Hold a Certificate IV in Aged Care OR Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse)
- Have highly developed relationship building, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Have knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and experience delivering learning outcomes under the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
