We are searching for someone with a strong background in frontline management to assist in the delivery of daily aquatic operations including pool supervision, emergency response, staff management, training and technical management of plant and equipment to ensure pool circulation and water quality is compliant with the department of health and code of practise regulations.

We are looking for an exceptional Supervisor to support our lifeguard team, setting them up for success in their day-to-day activities. Whilst providing on the job training, coaching and development to ensure outstanding team performance.

The Operations Supervisor will liaise with the Operations Team Leader, and other supervisors to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for our customers driven by consistent and effective policies and procedures. As the first escalation point for the aquatics team, you will be responsible for liaising with members and customers to provide outstanding service people talk about.

**About You**

We are seeking a highly motivated individual, who strives for excellence and industry best practise, with a real passion for the aquatics industry. You will be comfortable engaging with people, having difficult conversations to reach the right outcome and troubleshooting staff and customer concerns. With a passion for safety and ability to remain cool under pressure, you will shine whilst taking a lead role in emergency situations. To become part of our amazing team you will have:

- Previous experience as an Aquatic Technical Operator of pool plant equipment in a Group 1 Aquatic Facility.
- Exceptional people leadership skills including developing high performing teams, providing mentoring and coaching to support a positive team culture.
- Proven ability to work and perform in a high paced, active environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management
- Adaptable with the ability to strategically problem solve situations to maintain service levels.
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Drive to deliver our service vision “outstanding service people talk about”.

**Qualifications**
- WA Pool Operations Competency Certificate
- Leisure Institute of WA Aquatics Accreditation
- Current Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard Award
- Current Applied First Aid Certificate
- National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old)
- Current Working with Children Check

**Hours of Work**: 38 hours per week on a rotating roster, covering early, late and weekend shifts.

**Salary**: This level 4 position attracts a salary of $75,137 to $ 80,143 per annum plus penalties, depending on skills and experience in accordance with the City of Cockburn Enterprise Agreement.
