**permanent part time**
**Lifestyle Support Officer/Lifestyle Assistant**.

This 102 bed home is ideally situated on a beautifully landscaped site, just minutes from the heart of Caloundra and its beautiful local beaches. It also is conveniently located with our Caloundra Retirement Village.

This is a
**Part Time position**, working for 55 hours/fortnight where as a
**Lifestyle Support Officer/Lifestyle Assistant**, you will work as part of a team to motivate residents towards physical and social rehabilitation, through the use of activities that promote wellbeing.

**About this role**
- Assisting in the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure and recreational programs for our residents, in consultation with your team of carers
- Music/singing an advantage
- Enthusiasm and great new ideas welcomed
- Setting up venues and equipment as required
- Assisting with maintaining accurate documentation and monthly reporting to assure effectiveness of individual plans and identify opportunities for improvement
- Developing and fostering harmonious relationships with residents and encouraging residents to learn new skills
- Work some weekends (e.g One weekend a month)

What we are looking for:

- You will have a track record of working independently as well as within a team environment with great interpersonal skills to build solid and supportive working relationships with your peers, managers, residents and their families.
- Cert IV in Lifestyle and Leisure
- Ability to provide high quality Leisure & Lifestyle programs towards improved customer wellbeing
- Understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the aged and community care environment
- You must maintain an up to date influenza and COVID 19 vaccinations.
