Apprentice & Qualified Carpenters

HRC Building Group are seeking self-motivated 2nd, 3rd & 4th year Carpenters along with Qualified Carpenters who are willing to work on all aspects of Carpentry and are eager to develop personally and within the industry

We are a young and modern company who prides on detail, communication and comfortability within our team so we are able to provide a second-to-none service to our clients across Victoria.

Most of our work is in the residential sector completing residential builds and multi-unit sites, however we also provide services for renovation projects, decks, pergolas and more. Majority of our work is in custom building with some volume work mixed in

Our work is based in and around the Western Suburbs area however we do also have projects in Northern Suburbs and adhoc builds in Eastern Suburbs (rare & notice will be given)

Working under the guidance of highly experienced Carpenters, you will gain extensive training, mentoring and experience.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

- White Card
- Current Driver's License & reliable vehicle or reliable transport - essential
- Able to follow instructions
- Basic hand tools & tool belt - a basic power tool kit will be required for you to purchase later on, this shows genuine interest in your career & ability to look after and maintain your own equipment (tool allowance allocated in your hourly rate for this)
- Completed relevant work experience e.g Apprentices have started their apprenticeship & onsite training. Qualified Carpenters completed their Certificate III in Building and Construction or Certificate III in Carpentry (minimum)
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with capability to work both independently and within a team
- Ability and willingness to travel to job sites within regional and metro VIC
- Knowledge of safety requirements on construction sites
- Commitment to high quality workmanship, practices and procedures
- Well developed oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work outside in a range of weather condition
- Excellent personal presentation
