Redfern, Australia First Drop Cafe Full time

The First Drop is a small family run cafe, open for over 15 years. We are looking for an experienced barista with great communication, interpersonal skills and a vibrant personality to join the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Looking for experienced barista to join the team with a minimum of 2 years in a similar position.
- Learning and following cafe procedures.
- Being able to handle between 5 to 8 kgs of coffee independantly and with a co
- barista.
- Knowledge of opening and closing procedures of a coffee machine.
- Some latte art skills (but not a must). Training will be provided.
- Rotating roster will include weekday and weekend work.
- Opening shifts starting at 7:00am.
- Must hold current RSA certificate
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is an advantage
- With friendly and courteous attitude, good communication skills
- Delivering exceptional customer service and perform do-attitude at all times.
- Using POS and cash handling
- Willing to assist teammates in all aspects of cafe life and therefore being a team player.

MUST BE AVAILABLE AT WEEKENDS.

MUST BE RELIABLE, HARD WORKING AND ALWAYS ON TIME.

Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
