**Description**:
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter to join the Maintenance team at our Duketon operation. As a key member of our Fitting crew, you will safely and effectively carry out planned and unplanned maintenance activities on our crushers in a fixed plant environment.
This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster (day shift).
About the Role
Inspecting the workplace for hazards and promoting safe work practices
Safely and effectively delivering execution of planned & unplanned maintenance activities
Ensuring work procedures are followed
Relieving team members in the work place as required
Referring unresolved issues and problems to the Supervisor
Assisting processing with operational requirements within scope of training and skills.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
Trade qualification and competency certificates in a mechanical field
Relevant tickets such as Forklift, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, EWP & Crane, Dogging, Rigging highly regarded
Basic / Intermediate scaffolding ticket an advantage (or willing to undertake training towards this)
WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
Demonstrated post trade experience in the mining or heavy industry within a process plant environment
Knowledge and experience with maintenance management systems.
