We are looking for an experienced female disability support worker to work with a client in the Pakenham area.

**Specifically the role will entail the following**:

- 3 hour shift on a Wednesday 5-8pm
- Experience in handling meltdowns and emotional regulation

The family are wanting someone who will work with them on an ongoing basis.

**About the client**:

- Will require support, increase in self care/independence skills, and support in emotional regulation, building confidence, increasing well-being.
- Presents as Autistic
- There is BSP to follow and to be implemented.
- Individual enjoys playing, hanging out, going on bike ride, doing crafts

**About you**:

- Experienced Female support worker
- Reliable & consistent
- Non-judgemental, shows initiative & intuitive when to co-regulate
- Have excellent boundaries and clear communication
- Able to interpret & follow BSP reliably and consistently (where required)
- Calm and is confident and able to have fun/and engaging
- Fluent in English
- Has similar interests
- Able to take on feedback and passionate about the support you do and what this will mean to this client

**Job Type**: Subcontract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pakenham, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
