- Our client is a manufacturer of building products and associated products servicing the commercial construction industry. They are seeking a Operations Manager to lead the entire business unit and 2 sites in Melbourne. This is part time (3 days a week) and varied position responsible for the manufacturing operation and managing a team of 20 staff in a transformational role.

This is a generalist role overseeing many areas of the business unit, with the chance to join an experienced and passionate team with a positive, supportive company culture.
- Responsibilities include:
- Lead daily operations of fast paced construction manufacturing site
- Ensure safety and efficiency across all divisions of the facility
- Monitor & report on plant processes and production performance
- Cost control and P&L responsibility
- Commercial focus and providing quality product & service delivery for customers

Key competencies include:
- Manufacturing management experience essential
- Industry experience required
- Collaborative, supportive and hands on leadership
- Generalist with exposure to customers, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, financials, distribution and logistics
- Strong communication skills
- Problem solving abilities
