Tutt Bryant Equipment is the national distributor of Metso Crushing and Screening equipment and is seeking a professional Fitter Maintenance/Mechanicto join its WA team based in South Guildford.
This position will be responsible for providing both inhouse and field repair and maintenance support to a client base utilising Metso Crushing and Screening equipment.
The essential tasks of this role include:
- Diagnosing faults in and performing operational maintenance of Metso Crushing and Screening equipment
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
- Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of equipment and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
- May erect machines and equipment on-site
The skills and experience required for this role are:
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV
- At least two [2] years work experience
- Safe working track record
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work unsupervised and
- Ability to work within a team environment
- White Card (Construction Industry)
- Able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
- Excellent Time Management
- Good Communication and Literacy
- Flexibility
- Valid Drivers Licence
An attractive remuneration package is on offer for this position with a base salary of $90,000 - $100,000 (depending on the level of experience) and other company-provided items and benefits.
