In this pivotal role, you'll play a crucial part in delivering exceptional breakdown and preventative maintenance services to our esteemed manufacturing facility. Working closely with both maintenance and production teams, you'll spearhead efforts to enhance plant reliability and drive efficiency improvements in our dynamic manufacturing setting.

As a Maintenance Fitter, your key responsibilities include:

- Performing breakdown repairs using advanced fault diagnosis techniques to minimize downtime.
- Identifying and proposing enhancements to plant and equipment to optimize efficiency, yield, and safety.
- Strengthening system reliability through proactive preventive maintenance measures.
- Collaborating on cross-functional projects to support engineering in plant modifications or new installations.
- Engaging in Continuous Improvement initiatives and implementing 5S practices.
- Providing innovative solutions to production challenges related to plant throughput.
- Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date maintenance records.

Essential qualifications and requirements for these roles:

- Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter (dual trade highly regarded).
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- A steadfast commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) principles.
- Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and the interpretation of technical drawings.
- Exposure to or experience with Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Familiarity with robotic systems (desirable but not essential).
- Experience in computerized maintenance management systems (SAP highly desirable).
