As a member of the VET Pathways Centre, you would be part of a team providing a 'one-stop shop' where our students, parents/caregivers and school community are able to get advice and support for the range of multiple pathways available to students including: employers, industry groups, external organisations (including TAFE), Westec Trade Training Centre, registered training organisations, universities, non-profit organisations, work experience, traineeships and apprenticeships. Students who are accessing these programs are timetabled into the pathways centre for their study lesson. As part of the team, you will be required to engage with the students and support them as required. This is a very dynamic classroom/work environment and can be professionally rewarding. It would be advantageous for the successful applicant to: - have basic knowledge of QCE processes such as: senior internal and external assessment, Endorsement, Confirmation, AARA and student portal management - demonstrate use of various information technology platforms such as Qlearn, Oneschool, TrackEd, QCAA and the Microsoft Office suite (word, powerpoint, excel, publisher, onenote) - be able to liaise with a range of staff including administration, Heads of Department, teachers and external providers - have the ability to work flexibly, interfacing with multiple students simultaneously - have a warm, firm and friendly manner - work collegially in a busy classroom/office environment **Applicants for these positions must possess**: - A relevant teaching qualification.
