Your Opportunity
As a Teacher of TAFE Queensland you will have the opportunity to impart your extensive industry knowledge and experience to students using a variety of delivery methods including in the classroom, online, and workplace.
You will also enjoy the satisfaction of giving students from diverse backgrounds the skills they need to succeed at work and in their future.be responsible for:

- Outcome focussed vocational education and training (VET) programs in CHC30221 Certificate III and CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support;
- Linking with industry, schools, universities, community, other TAFE and VET providers;
- Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and contemporary teaching in a classroom setting
- Working in an environment of ongoing change and continuous improvement.

The Role
We have an exciting temporary full-time Teacher position available until December 2025 (unless otherwise determined) to join our team at TAFE Queensland's Mt Gravatt Campus.
This position reports to the Eductional Team Leader.
This is a Temporary, Full-Time opportunity, to December 2025 unless otherwise determined.
The position will be based primarily at Mt Gravatt campus however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Salary
The salary range for a Teacher is $88,547.03 - $100,232.42 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Requirements
**Applicant must posses the following**:

- Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed;
Certificate III in Education Support or Certificate III in School Based Education Support
- current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
- current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
- evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;
- Current Queensland Driver's license.

Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:

- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; plus:

- TAELLN411 or its successor or TAELLN401A; and
- TAEASS502 or its successor or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B; or
- A credential issued by a higher education provider which would enable the individual to satisfy the academic requirements for registration as a secondary school teacher and one (1) of the following credentials:

- TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor, or
- TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor; or
- TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set; or
- A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
