This is an exciting role for a hardworking field service technician to make a difference in the field of information assurance, tactical communications and cyber security. This role requires a variety of technical and training skills and close interaction with Government customers as well as Viasat partners. This role is key to the provision of ongoing product support to Viasat’s growing customer base in these areas and will involve extensive customer interaction.

**Requirements**:

- 7+ years’ experience with ADF information assurance tactical communications and cyber security systems
- Working knowledge of ADF operations and military use of information assurance, tactical communications and cyber security equipment
- Demonstrated experience in development and management of technical user documentation
- Proven experience in development, management and delivery of technical training
- Experience in classified document handling
- Validated experience in the handling and management of cryptographic equipment
- Experience in operation and management of ADF IT systems
- Ability to pass skills testing for grip and static strength, dynamic lifting and work/positional tolerance
- Technical degree or certificate or equivalent job experience
- Australian Citizen with active Australian Government Secret Clearance (NV1) or have held one previously
- Ability to travel up to 50% to domestic and international locations

**Preferences**
- Experience as a Cryptographic Custodian Officer
- Experience in Security Officer role
- Knowledge of Viasat Information Assurance and Cybersecurity product families

**Additional Requirements and Information**:

- Minimum Education- AA/AS or equivalent experience- Years of Experience- Other- Travel- Up to 50%- Citizenship- Australian Citizenship required- Clearance- Must be able to obtain an Australian Government Secret Clearance (NV1)- Worker Classification- Employee
