We are seeking an experienced Records Management Specialist to join one of our government clients located in the Adelaide CBD for a 3 month temp role. You will be an integral part of the team providing effective service delivery and management of records in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. In addition, you will provide specialist records management advice specifically relating to the retention and disposal of records and the transfer of records.
**The Role**
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and maintain the existing documents and records management framework
- Ensure high quality records and information management service delivery to stakeholders
- Provide administration for the SharePoint system
- Manage and support information and records management systems for digital and physical records
- Provide technical advice to stakeholders
- Maintain a current working knowledge of contemporary practice and trends in the areas of information management, data management, content management, document and records management
**Experience Required**
- Previous experience working in Records and information Management roles
- Microsoft Office and SharePoint knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success developing partnerships with business units
- Extensive experience analysing records management systems, plans and practices in a large government or commercial organisation
