This is an exciting career development opportunity supporting our high-performing Defence team within a key maritime program, where we bring together engineering, design, systems integration and platform management capabilities to sustain the Collins Class submarines.

The Cost Controller will be an integral member of the team and will focus on the financial management and operations of the program. Responsibilities could include:

- Support and assist project teams / stakeholders to interpret cost data and inform how to manage project time, cost, scope, delivery.
- Contract specific reporting in accordance with KPIs and assist with providing support on monthly, and annual performance analysis.
- Performance or progress, to support successful delivery of project outcomes.
- Process and verify quantitative data to ensure timely and accurate compilation of project transactions and reporting.
- Gather and synthesise information from various sources to determine and recommend integrated, accurate and realistic project costings.

**About you**

You will be someone who can hit the ground running and will thrive in an environment where you can implement process improvement initiatives. You will pride yourself on your ability to effectively find solutions to problems and will be eager to collaborate with internal stakeholders. With exceptional attention to details, you will also possess the following:

- Australian Citizen with Baseline security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, IT, PM or Accounting.
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Ability to produce and analyse financial information in a timely and accurate manner**.**:

- Sound knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
