**The Opportunity**
The North-South Corridor Program Delivery Office (PDO) was established with the sole purpose of planning and delivering the final section of the North-South Corridor between the River Torrens and Darlington.

This is a multi-billion dollar project that will complete the final and most complex stages of a 78km free-flowing motorway that is vital to both the future economy and the liveability of Adelaide

The Cost Controller is responsible for supporting the Senior Cost Controller and Finance Officer in control cost activities through all phases of the North-South Corridor (NSC) project lifecycle. The role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of project cost management processes that provide an accurate reflection of project performance within the guidelines of the project control processes and governance procedures.

The role also has responsibility for maintaining the NSC project cost model using the cost breakdown structure, running end-of-month cost reporting, assessing, and supporting contractor claim verification and driving forecast accuracy as core activities. The role will contribute to building a robust, cost-aware culture across the NSC Program Delivery Office (PDO) to ensure cost issues are proactively identified, assessed for criticality, prioritised and plans developed for implementation.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, engineering or a related field is required.
- Experience working in complex, large scale multidisciplinary infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Experience in using cost management systems is essential.

**Special Conditions**
A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 3 years

**Remuneration**
ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 per annum
