Due to ongoing growth, mecwacare is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team and coordinate lifestyle programs at our newly acquired retirement living site, Berwick Brae Gardens. You will plan, design and deliver varied lifestyle programs to meet the needs of residents ensuring they maintain active and independent lives through the development and implementation of activities and social engagement opportunities based on their interest, abilities, cultural needs, and life experience.

**What you bring**:

- Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure), or relevant qualification at Certificate IV level is desirable.
- Proven ability to deliver lifestyle programs to meet resident needs.
- An understanding of the ageing process and caring for older people.
- Self-motivation with well-developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, and attend to multiple tasks, experience working alongside volunteers advantageous.
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Records Check.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWC).
