Our busy and professional Millers Point-based family is searching for an experienced nanny who has a love for children, is patient and happy nature. The nanny is also warm, energetic, caring, attentive, intuitive of the child’s needs and feelings, supportive, and reliable to provide their children with high-quality care. It is essential that the nanny possess strong experience working with 2 children of a similar age.

The nanny will focus the majority of their care on the youngest child as the eldest attends school. The nanny will be responsible for feeding, changing, playing age-appropriate activities, walking to nearby parks and playgrounds, and settling down for naps. The nanny will also be responsible for getting the eldest ready for preschool and engaging in continuing the care when she returns in the afternoon. High-quality engagements and age-appropriate activities are essential.

The nanny will be expected to pick up and drop off the eldest from school, and assist with light household duties such as general tidying up, cleaning the kitchen, organising children’s areas, children’s laundry, and purchasing children's needs. The nanny will also assist with the children’s bedtime routines.

The successful nanny will be part of the family and will always be treated with warmth, love, respect, open communication, and a long-term relationship with the family. There will be flexibility where possible and a happy home environment.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Building a strong relationship with the children
- Organising and planning fun, creative, and engaging activities
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
- Completing light household duties - all children related
- Meals preparation - for the children
- Maintaining all aspects of the care routine for the children
- Occasional Saturday / overnight will be requested
- Live-in will occur occasionally from time to time for short periods

To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:

- Prefer nanny to drive and have her own car but not necessary
- Nanny will accompany and attend the swim lessons with the children
- A minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience working with babies and children
- A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Excellent communication skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
