The Principal Specialist is part of the Information and Knowledge Products Team within the Innovation and Technology Solutions (ITS) Branch of AUSTRAC. It is responsible for the development and implementation of practices and procedures to deliver superior IT services. The Principal Specialist facilitates frameworks to manage and alleviate risk, build strong client and customer relationships and stabilise the ITS landscape for better growth, scale and innovation.

The qualities and key functions of the team are to deliver on, support and guide the key dimensions of ITS Service Management including strategy, management of major incidents and continuous improvement. Provision of high quality advice and guidance relating to processes and standards that support the Service Management function. Lead and facilitate the ITS Branch planning framework and processes to support high quality ITS service delivery.

**Eligibility**

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a security assessment, maintain an ongoing security clearance and satisfy AUSTRAC’s pre-engagement checks.
