**How will I help?**

As a Data Analyst within the Westpac CBMO (Consumer Bank Marketing Operations) team, you will be at the forefront of transforming data into valuable insights. Your work will directly impact our Brand and Marketing strategy, enabling us to make informed decisions.

**Your responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- You will be responsible for supporting with tactical as well as strategic insights and analysis to support the wider marketing team and build a BI suite for ongoing performance monitoring.
- Utilize sophisticated SQL, Python or other relevant programming skills to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources and systems.
- Develop and maintain automated data processes to streamline data acquisition and integration.
- Derive meaningful insights from complex datasets through statistical analysis, insights, and data mining techniques.
- Create interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI for effective data visualization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Prepare professional presentations for stakeholder decision making and information sharing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of data analytics.

**What do I need?**
- Proven 1-2 experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in a fast-paced environment with a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience working in a large multinational bank, financial or consulting firm is advantageous.
- Demonstrated Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets; Python, R, Clickstream/Adobe Analytics, Azure ML workbench are highly regarded.
- Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Demonstrated ability to derive actionable insights from data and communicate findings effectively.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
