**About the position**

The City of Gosnells is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic professionals to join our Parks and Environment team.

This hands-on role supports the establishment, maintenance and repair of parks infrastructure across the City. You will operate a range of tools and equipment to help maintain playgrounds, skate parks and other park assets to a high standard, while also assisting with the installation of features such as fencing, paving, boardwalks and shelters.

**What we are looking for**

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate
- Substantial experience in a parks infrastructure maintenance role
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of people
- Strong focus on safety

**Essential requirements**
- Cert III in Parks and Gardens, Landscaping or equivalent qualification.
- Current MR Class drivers licence
- White card

**Desirable requirements**
- Trade certificate in Carpentry / Cabinetry / Boiler making or equivalent.
- Chainsaw Ticket
- Concrete, paving, limestone and/or brickwork experience
- Operator tickets for operating machinery such as Loader, Bobcat, Excavator, EWP, Forklift and Chainsaw.
- Completion of Playground Operation Inspection Level 3
