**About the organisation**

Our client is a leading training and education provider comprising of 4 Registered Training Organisations with sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Hobart, and a large campus in Brisbane’s southern suburbs. They strive to service International and some domestic students by offering multiple qualifications via face to face learning (as per requirement of ASQA for CRICOS) and some one-on-one online training sessions.

**About the opportunity**

On their behalf, we are recruiting for a CHC Individual Support and Ageing Support Trainer and Assessor to teach Cert III in Individual Support and/ or Cert IV in Ageing Support.

The primary responsibility of Trainer and Assessor is to deliver training programs in accordance with relevant contractual and compliance requirements.

In this role, you will be required to prepare, deliver and monitor student progress, and provide support and guidance to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience. As per the requirement of ASQA and CRICOS, you will be teaching in-person face to face in classrooms, but you must also be able to teach distance learning in one on one online sessions.

This opportunity is based in Southport or Brisbane and can be offered as one full or two part time roles (2.5 - 3 days). The working hours to be covered are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Teaching is 20 hours per week (2.5 days), plus a half day of supervision and 2 days marking.

The practical assessments of the courses are carried out in the work place, so some travel will be a requirement.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or older version with the LLN module and ASS502.
- A Cert III in Individual Support and/ or Cert IV in Ageing Support as a minimum. Diploma level highly regarded.
- Training & assessment experience in classroom, workplace and/or online settings
- Must pass be able to pass a Police Check and a Working with Children Check
- A drivers license and your own transport
- Strong communication skills and an engaging personality.
