We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled **Groundsperson/Gardener** to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and values safety, teamwork, and attention to detail.

**About the Role**

As a Groundsperson/Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and gardens to a high standard and contributing to the overall presentation and functionality of the site.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Lawn and grounds care that makes every visitor say “wow”
- Irrigation systems - install, maintain, and automate
- Gardening tasks - weed control, pruning, mulching, planting
- Cellar Door support - waste disposal, recycling, firewood restocking
- Event support - setup, pack-down, and clean-up
- Tractor operation - slashing, spraying, driveway maintenance
- Chainsaw and pole-saw work
- General site maintenance and cleanliness

**What We’re Looking For**
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eye for detail and pride in your work
- Commitment to safety, wearing PPE and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Valid driver’s licence
- ChemCert (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with gardening equipment (brush cutters, mowers, edgers, blowers)
- Knowledge of plant and pest identification and control

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Certificate in Horticulture
- Forklift licence
- Chainsaw certificate
- Working at Heights licence
- Elevated Work Platform licence
- Telehandler certificate
