**Position Purpose**
The purpose of ICT Infrastructure Team Leader is to work with & manage various SME’s to design, implement, manage and evolve the infrastructure (on-premises and/or cloud) that supports the organisation's ICT systems.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Produces outline system designs and specifications, and overall architectures, topologies, configuration databases and design documentation of networks and networking technology within the organisation.
- Specifies user/system interfaces, including validation and error correction procedures, processing rules, access, security and audit controls.
- Creates and maintains network plans for own area of responsibility, contributes to setting service level agreements, and plans the infrastructure necessary to provide the network services to meet such agreements.
- Adopts and adapts appropriate systems design methods, tools and techniques selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches, and ensures they are applied effectively.
- Leads the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas.
- Ensures that appropriate tools and methods are available, understood and employed in architecture development.
- Within a change programme, leads the preparation of technical plans and, in liaison with business assurance and project staff, ensures that appropriate technical resources are made available.
- Provides advice on technical aspects of solution development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.) and ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) are applied correctly.
- Experience in managed service provider and ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Proficient in managing staff, both contract and permanent, concerning health and safety, professional development, coaching and mentoring.

**Your Qualifications and Experience**
- At least 5 years’ experience as an infrastructure or solution engineer, architect, Team leader, manager or suitable equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technology/ICT discipline.
- Suitable Infrastructure/Network/Cloud certifications.
- Experience in migrating On-premise environment to cloud.
- ITIL certification.
- PMP/Prince2/Agile Certified or relevant experience.
- Product knowledge & experience with one or more of the following products: Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper switches, Ruckus AP’s, Dell server and storage hardware & VMWare.
