**Family Support Counsellor (North Metro)**:
**Locations : Hillarys, Joondalup**

**Employment Type : permanent part-time**
- March 7, 2025
- **Remuneration**: $40.02 to $48.85 per hour (depending on experience)
- **Location**: Hillarys & Joondalup (with outreach)
- **Employment Type**: Permanent part-time. 3 to 4 days per week (one evening shift per week will be required)

**The position**
- Responsibilities of the role include:_
- Provide a counselling service to young people (0-18) at risk of developing mental health issues and adult carers, including Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) carers.
- Employ both a brief intervention model for working with clients as well as therapeutic interventions where appropriate for the support HelpingMinds offers;
- Establish self-help Support Groups for Carers and provide support to the group once it is established;

About You

Minimum qualifications:

- Tertiary Degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work
- Current Drivers License
- Proof of Australian Working Rights
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Working with Children Card
- Current First Aid Certificate
