We are looking for a Practice Nurses to join the Jupiter family at our general practice clinic inWhitford City Family Practice

Experience is preferred but not essential.

Role includes but is not limited to:

  • Assisting the medical practitioner in delivering medical services: patient triage, acute illness, health assessments, chronic disease management
  • Adult and Childhood immunisations.
  • Daily coordination of the treatment room: stock control/ordering, sterilisation, general maintenance of medical instruments and equipment.
  • Patient education.
  • Implementing and practicing infection control.
  • Management of recall and reminders

Key Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • WA immunisation certificate or willingness to obtain as soon as possible.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A caring and holistic approach to patient care.
  • Time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Best Practice software.
