We are committed to crafting unforgettable memories for our guests that will have them swept away by the peace and tranquillity that is Springfield House. This position will require you to assist the function centre to deliver an excellent guest experience.

**Our opportunity**
- Oversee function on the day of the event and ensure the function staffing team are thoroughly briefed as to what role is required of them.
- Provide management with staffing required to be allocated to the functions.
- Ability to ensure Event Manager’s Function Checklist is followed with the upmost attention to detail to ensure the event runs seamlessly, problem solving, and ensuring all of the pre-approved details meet the client’s needs.
- Responsible for overseeing and setting up the function on the day.
- Assist in the creation of function folders and documentation.
- Serving as the main contact point for any and all problems that arise at the event.
- Ongoing communication with the client to keep them up to date on any changes.

**What you bring**
- Minimum 2 year’s hospitality venue functions experience essential (operational experience is an advantage)
- Certificate IV Events Management preferred
- Must have a valid RSA certificate
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills and a team player
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and with a client first approach with a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of financial skills
- Able to negotiate, delegate and work under pressure
- Bar experience is desirable
- Excellent presentation and communication skills

**Experience**:

- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
- Barista: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (preferred)
- RSA Certificate (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
