We have an opportunity for a career driven and tenacious technical underwriting manager to join our team in either our Perth or Glasgow office. This is a great job for someone with considerable underwriting expertise who is self-motivated and can lead projects and take ownership of issues. The role will suit someone who is adaptable wants to develop their people leadership skills and is ready to progress in the next step of their underwriting career with one of the UK’s leading Insurance, Wealth, and Retirement businesses.

A bit about the job:
Skills and experience we’re looking for:

- Ability to work in an agile project environment
- Good stakeholder management and prioritising skills
- Leadership/coaching ability with great communication
- Previous underwriting Experience and industry knowledge
- A detailed underwriting knowledge of a personal lines’ product would be beneficial

- Starting salary between £35,000 and £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

- 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days
