**Contract**:Ongoing Contract at 0.4FTE

**Location**:Sonder Edinburgh North & outreach to Barossa and surrounding areas

**About the Role**:
As the Exercise Physiologist, you will provide evidence-based exercise interventions to clients in Country SA, including Gawler and Nuriootpa, focusing on individuals living with or at risk of chronic disease.

You will deliver tailored exercise programs, both individually and in groups, with a strong emphasis on health promotion and empowering clients to manage their own health. Collaboration with care coordinators, dietitians, and other health professionals will be key to designing effective programs. You will also contribute to service evaluation and continuous improvement.

**Experience Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in working effectively with people with a chronic disease or health risk factors, including development of individual exercise plans.
- Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience of practice in community settings
- Experience in procedure development and implementation and evaluation
- Experience in resource development for distribution to a range of stakeholders

**Qualification and Other Requirements**:

- Degree level qualifications in Exercise Physiology, as well as current accreditation and registration with ESSA
- Drivers Licence
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
