Household Task Specialist/support Worker

Amari Services is an NDIS registered household task and yard work service provider, operating in the metro areas of Sydney and Melbourne. We work well with people experiencing physical and mental health concerns and are passionate about making the most of our opportunity to contribute to their quality of life. This is what drives us on a daily basis.Having worked with over 400 clients to date, we have developed a true understanding of how to help clients take the first steps towards leading their ideal life through our cleaning and decluttering services. **Qualifications & Experience**
- Cert II, III, IV in Disability Services, Aged Care, Individual Support, Community Services, Mental Health or Cleaning Operations
- At least 2 years of experience in the Home Care sector if you have no certification
- Recent (within 3 months) Police Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate (Desirable but not mandatory)
- Current Driving License
- Comprehensively insured car
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- General Housekeeping - cleaning, dusting, dishwashing, bed-making and operating cleaning machinery eg. vacuum cleaners and pressurised water tools
- Decluttering - Removing and disposing of unwanted items in the home, including furniture
- Laundry and Related Tasks
- Carpet Cleaning - steaming, shampooing and deodorising carpets
- Window Cleaning
- Miscellaneous Yard Work tasks as needed by clients
- Providing timely and accurate information to the administration team, using the tools provided, for purposes of setting up and maintaining client services, as well as, claiming funds for services delivered.
