We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client's team in Ingleburn. They specialise in plastic recycling products. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated skilled professional looking to contribute to the company's success.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintenance and breakdown on our extrusion lines, granulation and shredder machines
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical engine issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic Fitter or similar role.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Mechanical Fitter: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
