Our client, a large complex Queensland Government department, are currently seeking an Organisational Change Manager (Workforce Planning) for an initial contract until 30/06/2025.

**Key roles and responsibilities include;**
- Partner with IT leadership to assess current capabilities, identify gaps, and develop a roadmap to adopt contemporary ways of working.
- Design and implement change management strategies to foster a culture of collaboration, customer-centricity, and adaptability across IT teams during the transformation process.
- Lead and manage development of change responses, training, workforce and business readiness activities relating to new business processes, system changes and solution related changes.
- Provide strategic organisational change management advice in relation to change readiness, performance management, and implementation of approved change management activities, including the evaluation and management of risks and issues.
- Lead collaborative engagement with business stakeholders to assess and manage change impacts and prepare the business for change.
- Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships and cross team collaboration to support effective business change and workforce transition.

**Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability required;**
- Aligns change and workforce delivery to strategic priorities, working within organisational constraints to deliver a pragmatic approach to change.
- Works on multiple projects simultaneously and uses a pragmatic approach to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Ensures internal and external stakeholder engagement is well managed via good practice relationship and engagement practices, client and supplier management and enables effective and efficient operational service delivery.
- Good knowledge of project and workforce management methodologies with Agile and hybrid approaches preferred.
- Working knowledge of change management and workforce concepts and processes.

This hourly rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
