Retailers and consumers around the world rely on Clean Loop Recycling to collect more than 40 billion used bottles and cans each year. Here in Australia, our reverse vending machines (RVMs) are installed throughout NSW, QLD, WA and NT. In NSW, our largest operation in Australia, we provide the technology for the Return & Earn Scheme and partner with Cleanaway to provide convenient options for our customers to recycle their beverage containers in the hopes to encourage them to join the Clean Loop Recycling revolution

The objective of this position is to be the local technical expert and follow up on TOMRA’s reverse vending products. You will be required to interface with our partners, customers, technicians and system users. This role will act as the conduit between TOMRA Collection Australia (TCA) and TOMRA’s global head office in Norway.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Create and maintain market-specific recognition databases for various RVM types
- Provide technical input to the rest of organisation regarding machine capabilities and different configuration options
- Act as the escalation point for technical queries or requests regarding TOMRA’s various RVM’s and resolve technical issues that may arise
- Deliver full functional training to local Technicians and Service Centre Operators to ensure that service team members are well educated and have a comprehensive understanding of the products and future developments
- Analyse and report on data gathered from RVMs installed in the market
- Suggest and implement performance improving actions across TCA’s RVM portfolio

**Qualifications**:

- Proven technical capabilities
- An interest in emerging technology and environmentalism
- Ability to learn and adapt new concepts
- Solution and result driven
- Strong ability to communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong data analysis capabilities
- Proven experience developing products or system improvements
- Previous hands-on or field experience is preferred
- B.A. Engineering - Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical preferred or equivalent
