**About the role**

Join our Parks & Streetscape Operations team and help shape vibrant, welcoming public spaces across the Inner West. As a key member of the day-labour crew, you’ll contribute to the maintenance and improvement of parks, sportsfields, open spaces, and recreational areas ensuring they remain safe, accessible, and enjoyable for our diverse community.

Reporting to the Parks Maintenance Team Leader, you’ll work collaboratively to deliver high-quality services that align with Council’s Operational and Strategic Plans. Your efforts will directly support the goals of the Community Strategic Plan and reflect Council’s commitment to compassion, integrity, collaboration, innovation, and respect.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in outdoor work, values teamwork, and is passionate about contributing to community wellbeing through well-maintained public spaces.

**Remuneration**

$61,783.28 - $67,504.32 + 12% Superannuation

**Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Relevant horticultural qualification OR equivalent industry experience in parks and sportsfields operations
- Ability to learn to use field devices (eg. tablets) for managing daily team work plans.
- Understanding and commitment to equal employment opportunities, diversity, work health and safety, ethical practice and acting with probity at all times.
- Class C Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence.
- Suitable level of fitness to perform the inherent duties of the position.
