**About the Role**

An iFLY Flight Instructor conducts training classes, assists customers during their flights, and enthusiastically promotes the sport of body flight. The main job of a Flight Instructor is to facilitate a safe and enjoyable flight experience for the customer.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: promoting customer’s safety while flying, providing excellent customer service, up-selling and sales, coaching, controlling the wind-tunnel, cleaning and maintaining the facility, and conducting the daily run-up inspection.
- Meeting and greeting customers with world-class customer service
- Training and teaching the class
- Gearing up and de-gearing customers
- Safely flying customers in the wind-tunnel
- Coaching novice and advanced flyers
- Controlling the wind-speed of the wind-tunnel
- Taking photos
- Up-Selling iFLY products and services, including return flyer vouchers, additional flight rotations, and media
- Cleaning

Additional Customer Service duties may include:

- Checking in guests
- Making reservations
- Answering phone calls

Work Experience and skills
- No previous skydiving or indoor skydiving experience required.
- Minimum 2 year commitment.
- All training for the role will be paid and provided and applicants must be available mid Aug to complete the training.
- Must be of reasonable fitness as the role can be strenuous on the body. A fitness will be required prior to the Instructor course.
- Strong customer service background.
- Experience in coaching or teaching.
- Experience in a tourism, leisure or sports facility
- Experience working with children & adults.
- Have a working with children's check (or the ability to obtain one)
- Sales experience

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Commission
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: From $25.85 per hour
