**Despatch Manager**
- Full time permanent role with a monthly paid RDO
- Hours of work 6.00am - 3pm + overtime Monday to Friday
- Salary package of $110K - $120K (negotiable) + super

**About Us**

Based in Campbellfield, in their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, this locally based business is a key supplier to the building and construction industry and manufacturer a variety of glass products.

As the Despatch Manager you will lead a team of 9, be responsible for the day-to-day activities of inward and outwards goods, develop, document, implement policies and procedures while complying to company safety guidelines.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Leading and mentoring a despatch team of 9 people with the view increase
- 60% of time in the factory and 40% on administrative tasks
- Ability to develop, document and implement policies and procedures
- Set excellent standards and drive a safe working environment culture
- Strong customer focus and understanding of delivery dates
- Achieve 100% DIFOT whilst minimising unnecessary reworks
- Ensure despatch is compliant with company policies
- Implement & execute directives that support the business strategy

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Demonstrated history in a leadership role in a factory, warehouse, or despatch
- Glass industry experience desired but not essential
- Physically fit with ability to handle, load, unload, organise and coordinate
- A positive work ethic and a can-do approach.

A background in the building and construction industry or materials that consist with the build of a residential house, apartment or unit is highly regarded i.e., hardware, glass, glazing, aluminium, timber, plaster, roofing, insulation, flooring, windows, doors etc
