On behalf of our client, Progress Rail we are looking to recruit apprentices to complete an electrical fitting qualification. Progress Rail is one of the largest integrated and diversified suppliers of railroad and transit system products and services worldwide.

**About the role**:
**To be successful for this role you will**:

- Be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a relevant right to work visa
- Hold a Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Pre-apprenticeship) OR have significant experience in the electrical or mechanical industries
- Have a minimum Year 12 completion with passes in Maths and English
- Be committed to your on the job learning and formal off-the job training
- Be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality workmanship
- Have a strong work ethic which enables you to strive for excellence
- Be a natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance
- Be commitment to ensuring a Zero Harm workplace
- Be able to get on with others and be a team-player
- Must have own transport and hold a current Driver’s Licence
- Have the ability to pass and complete a vigorous 3-step onboarding process which includes pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
