**Part Time and Casual Dental Assistant Position Available**

The Dental Surgery In Belconnen is a modern, ADA-accredited dental practice, located conveniently inside the Westfield shopping mall in Belconnen. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly, multicultural team as a Dental Assistant.

**Position Overview**:
As a Casual Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience by providing excellent chairside assistance and supporting the overall operations of our practice.

**Fundamental Responsibilities**:
Greet and welcome patients with a friendly demeanor.

Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures, including hygiene treatments, fillings, root canal treatments, crowns, implants, surgical extractions, and general dentistry.

Ensure strong compliance with sterilization, safety, and infection control measures.

Pour models and process X-rays as needed.

Monitor and restock dental supplies.

Perform reception duties as required.

**Qualifications**:
Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Positive attitude, care, compassion, and empathy towards patients.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to adapt to the needs and preferences of different dentists.

Experience with D4W software is a plus but not required.

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Rotating roster

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
