
Organisational Wellbeing Consultant, Metropolitan

**About the role**:
As the regional Organisational Wellbeing Consultant you will have responsibility for the following:
- Provide proactive and preventative organisational and employee, health and relationship strategies and programs designed to enhance workplace relationships, employee wellbeing and work effectiveness.
- Undertake the sourcing and/or facilitation of relevant training and programs to assist Regional and school leadership teams, and employees in the area of trauma related risk, staff psychological wellbeing, organisational health and staff relationship management.
- Researching and sourcing of industry resources for regional and school organisational health and staff wellbeing strategies.
- Provide organisational development consultation to regional and school leadership teams specific to workplace culture, staff wellbeing and performance outcomes.
- Develop regional and school capability in organisational development, organisational health and staff wellbeing.
- Facilitate workshops and presentations on improving communication, enhancing physical and mental health and wellbeing, increasing psychological resilience and other organisational issues such as coping with change and time management.
- This role can be based at the Nundah/Mt Gravatt/Ipswich Regional Offices (negotiable) with the option of a flexible work arrangement.

**Ideally the successful applicant will**:
- Be DiSC facilitator trained.
- Have demonstrated ability to identify workplace trends, and develop, implement and coach proactive strategies to improve Regional and school culture, organisational health and staff wellbeing.
- Have demonstrated ability and experience in providing a range of organisational health and wellbeing strategies at both an organisational and individual level resulting in positive outcomes.
- Thrive as part of a high-performing, innovative Organisational Health team and look for ways to contribute to teams operational plans and strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven high ability to work collaboratively and productively with a diverse range of employees, professionals, team members, stakeholders and clients to achieve outcomes.
- Proven ability to independently plan, manage, implement, monitor and report on projects and activities that achieve organisational health outcomes in accordance with the position role descriptors.
- Demonstrated high level skills in consultation, negotiation, problem solving and presentation, including a demonstrated capacity to recommend strategies based on analysis, develop action plans with clients, monitor progress and respond to changes, and make adjustments.
- Lead group processes and/or discussions
- Able to detect when intervention is not effective
- Able to assist others to shape culture
- Able to facilitate strategic planning
- Able to assist leadership teams to effectively lead change
- Able to coach others in skill development: evaluate outcomes and follow-up as appropriate
**Mandatory requirements**:
- Possession of a degree, masters or other qualifications, which in the opinion of the Director General of Education or delegate is acceptable in Psychology, Behavioural Science or Social Work.
- Membership or eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association. For Psychologists, full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
The Organisational Wellbeing Consultant reports to the Manager, Organisational Health, Metropolitan Region, Department of Education.
