**About the role**

Grampians Health Ballarat is offering several HMO positions for 2025 clinical year. Successful applicants will be able to complete rotations from a mix of the following terms: Emergency Medicine, O&G, Paediatric rotation either Ballarat or Horsham, General Surgical, General Medicine, Sub-Acute, as well as well as some Sub-specialty Surgical and Medical rotations and Relief.

For interested applicants there may be an opportunity to complete a Diploma in O&G as well as opportunities for Emergency Medicine pathways.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with all BHS policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Engage in risk management and quality improvement by identifying, minimizing, and managing risks; support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Grampians Health Ballarat’s affairs, patient and client information, and staff matters, sharing only when necessary for clinical or legal reasons.
- Foster inclusivity by respecting diverse backgrounds and characteristics, enhancing service quality and staff engagement.
- Uphold patient-centred care principles in alignment with BHS values in all interactions with patients, carers, and colleagues.

**Skills & Experience**
- Current registration to practice with the Australian Medical Board Successful completion of an internship year
- MBBS or equivalent
- Experience in self-management and organisation of work to achieve agreed outcomes
- Clinical experience consistent with stage of career.
- AMC part 1 and 2
- Recency of Practice
- English Language proficiency Exam
