It is the role of the Building Maintenance Officer to support the provision of Building Services to SAAS sites through performing a wide variety of general maintenance, minor repairs and coordination of assets of SAAS building infrastructure. Taking responsibility for the maintenance to SAAS buildings and facilities by receiving and responding to customer requests. Prioritise, plan, coordinate, program, schedule and monitor works related to the installation, maintenance, alteration and/or repair of facilities, items and/or equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Perform a wide range of general maintenance and minor repairs on SAAS building infrastructure, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and coordinating assets.

Investigate requests for repairs and ascertain appropriate methods for repairs or reinstatement of damage to public and private property sustained by staff while working in the field.

Undertake or manage minor capital works as directed by the Manager, collaborating with external project managers, contractors, and other building professionals as required.

Manage and maintain building maintenance files, mandatory records, and accurate logging and processing of all building maintenance work requests.

Reconcile invoices for services against the budget, provide financial tracking of works, prepare documentation for cross-charging of equipment and services, and generate monthly "cost recovery" reports.

Maintain a client-focused interaction as the main point of contact for maintenance support requests, ensuring timely responses to incoming communications and effective resolution of internal customer issues.
